Carbon Offset Projects

As experts in initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from planned or unplanned deforestation, we are reference in qualified projects for carbon credits origination. Our vast experience in the voluntary and regulated carbon markets combined with a deep knowledge of the territories allows us to build long-term solutions that integrate economic results, environmental preservation and improvements for local communities.

Our process

Partner support – especially landowners – from the identification of the potential of the area to the conclusion of the project and the generation of credits, following internationally recognized and validated methodologies.

Carbon credits can be originated by activities such as the preservation of native forests, regeneration and reforestation, sustainable agricultural practices, in addition to renewable energy projects. The main purpose is to value practices that combine environmental preservation and productivity, allowing partners to access to mechanisms that remunerate their work in the conservation and valorization of environmental assets.

Our expertise –Voluntary carbon market

→ Project evaluation and validation for promotion of renewable wood local market in Legal Amazon and, at the same time, contribute to the expansion of forestry and attraction of forest-based industries and other related productive activities to the region. Further analysis ensured that the project complied with the requirements of the Clean Development Mechanism for the generation of carbon credits.

→ Project technical analysis and development of a continuity strategy, with the objective of avoiding emissions from planned deforestation on property in the state of Pará.

→ Technical and legal due diligence to warrant the decision to acquire the Carbon Credits considering an assessment of the environmental integrity of the project to avoid more deforestation in two regions that already have high rates of deforestation in the Amazon Biome..

→ Revalidation of the baseline scenario established in the original project and new verification of carbon credits. Located within the “Arc of Deforestation” of the Legal Amazon, the project promotes sustainable forestry to reduce the economic pressure deforestation of native forests to conversion to pasture.

Our expertise – Clean Development Mechanism

→ Project design document development, validation, and project registration to modify the slaughterhouse effluent treatment system to minimize methane emission.

→ Project design document development, validation, and registration of the hydroelectric plant repowering project, in Minas Gerais, through the replacement of the energy generation network and reduction in losses from energy transmission.

→ Project design document development, validation, and project registration of three new small hydroelectric plants in the states of Minas Gerais and Santa Catarina.

→ Project design document development, validation, and project registration of nine wind farms in the states of Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul and Rio Grande do Norte.
