Throughout our trajectory, we have worked with NGOs and government entities to identify potential of environmental assets and to develop viable business strategies, aligning economic and social development with environmental conservation. Further than technical expertise and extensive regulatory knowledge, this type of project is important on the supporting of the creation of a social consensus among the different stakeholders, providing solutions with the greatest possible positive impact within each specific scenario.

Our expertise

→ Development of studies of technical operational components: land tenure regularization, biodiversity conservation, historical and cultural heritage, socioeconomic aspects and development of local communities, public use (with emphasis on the tourism sector) and infrastructure.

→ Development of tourist, economic and legal diagnoses of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects to improve the management of state and national parks and Federal Conservation Units. Formulation and promotion of public-private partnerships models or environmental alliances aiming the sustainable exploitation of the economic potential of preservation areas, enabling the management to improve and conservation of biodiversity, as well as the generation of social and economic benefits. → Legal modeling and technical studies for the development of Environmental Conservation System legislation based on Market Mechanisms and Payment for Environmental Services (Standards for Forest Conservation and REDD). Research and evaluation of existing public and private financing mechanisms indicating those that allow the structuring of public policies aimed at valuing and conserving environmental services, reconciled with the generation of social and economic benefits for the society and the development of value chains.

→ Diagnostics of the economic structure of the states and their relationship with land use and GHG emissions; proposals for technical and institutional models for payment mechanisms for environmental services in different states; and business plans and financial economic modeling development aiming the evaluation of the feasibility of proposed policy mechanisms.
