Systemica was born 15 years ago with the aim of contributing to the construction of a livable future. We work by connecting different actors – investors, public entities, landowners and local communities – with the opportunities in the carbon credit markets, favoring a flow of positive long-term impacts.
Based on a thorough and qualified analysis of the market and the demands of our partners, we jointly create solutions based on nature, combining economic, environmental and social returns. We go beyond the market vision, also bringing benefits to local communities and society as a whole.
We were able to do this because we brought together leading professionals in the carbon market with extensive experience in all stages of sustainable business development, as well as processes related to the generation and commercialization of carbon credits and the neutralization of emissions and permanent social impacts. In total, our team has already collaborated with the preservation of more than 71,000 hectares of native forest and sold more than 2 million carbon credits.
Veteran team in the carbon market and projects with global impact
We believe that, to change the current environmental scenario and create positive solutions, it is necessary to act with trust and transparency. All of our partnerships and projects undergo analysis by a multidisciplinary team experienced in the carbon market, with a significant repertoire in evaluating different territories. Physicists, engineers, environmental managers and lawyers build a broad and integrated vision with an assessment of costs and benefits for all parties involved.
The Systemica team knows that global warming has no borders: by identifying and evaluating territories with restoration and conservation potential across the country, the benefits of our projects go beyond the national territory and have a global impact.
We invest to become the best climate solutions provider in Latin America. By 2030, we plan to reduce 70 million tons of CO2 equivalent, in addition to US$ 60 million in social investments.
